Life Long Ward B Resident launches the Hellinger For Ward B City Council Run
Jessica Hellinger to run as an Independent in the November 2017 Race
Jessica D. Hellinger was born and raised in the Ward B section of Jersey City. She was educated in the city’s public school system and is proud to say that her children, too, are enrolled for their elementary and secondary educations. As the daughter of a politically involved family, she grew up with a bird’s eye view of politics from the inside. And as an adult, she has dedicated her time and talent to causes that directly affect those who reside in the Jersey City community at large. As an active volunteer and contributor to causes such as B.I.T.E., B.L.E.S.C., Jersey City Unity, NJ Sisterhood, CUP and others while also holding a Board position with the H.O.N.E.Y. Organization, Hellinger stays grounded in the issues.
As a concerned mother and wife, her pro youth stance is amplified by the fact that her children will be directly affected by decisions made on their behalf in the council chambers. The Real Estate agent and licensed Mortgage Loan Originator has spent countless hours working hand in hand with citizens, property owners, developers and the like as she advocates for her client base to make Jersey City their own by setting up residency in our flourishing metropolis.
“I want to give the citizens of Ward B the opportunity to be involved in the political process by being transparent on the issues, offering a listening ear and always giving an audience for citizens to share their wants, needs and concerns.” says Hellinger.
“I’m looking forward to engaging with the community in the coming weeks with my official launch event, walking tours and voter registration drives. These activities give us first hand, real time information about what is important to the community.” notes the candidate.
Her team will launch a robust social media campaign to leverage the reach of her supporters and friends who are at the crux of the #Hellinger4WardB rally cry on August 14th that will highlight her core messaging and amplify her stance on the issues.
